Accelerated Reader
Old Bridge Elementary has an extensive collection of Accelerated Reader quizzes. The OBE Library supports this program by purchasing quizzes for books in the library collection and maintaining the database of students and available quizzes. Library materials that have Accelerated Readers quizzes are identified by a blue dot on the spine next to the call number. Students are invited to read AR books and take quizzes. Periodic celebrations for participants occur throughout the school year for all those that meet their reading goals.
Reading Celebration Dates
All celebrations will occur the month after students meet their personal reading goal. Students will receive a prize or ice cream reward for their good reading habits.
