Old Bridge Elementary School - Middle School Transition

	Middle School - Here We Come! It is never too early to begin preparing your rising sixth grader for middle school. Old Bridge Elementary School's students are mostly zoned for either Lake Ridge Middle School or Woodbridge Middle School. Your student may be zoned for a different school, depending on your address and whether or not your child is an OBES transfer student. Knowing your base middle school is the first step to getting your student ready for his/her transfer. Contact the OBES counseling office or the front office if you have questions about your base middle school.
	PWCS Middle School Specialty Programs Prince William County Schools offer specialty programs for middle school. Your child may choose to study the Middle School World Languages Program, the Mathematics and Science Program, or the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. All students who wish to apply for a specialty program must complete an application. The OBES counseling office will hold in school essay writing dates and acquire report cards at the end of the third quarter. All other requirements are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
